About Me
Sanskrit is not merely a classical language—it is a knowledge system that integrates literature, science, philosophy, art, culture, and ethics. Known as the Devabhāṣā and Vāṅmaya, Sanskrit embodies India’s intellectual heritage. Why Sanskrit is Unique It preserves the oldest literature in the world—Vedas, Upanishads, Itihāsas, Purāṇas. It offers scientific insights in grammar (Vyākaraṇa), logic (Nyāya), medicine (Āyurveda), astronomy (Jyotiṣa), architecture (Vāstu Śāstra), and more. It teaches values such as respect for nature, discipline, harmony, and dharma. It forms the foundation of many Indian languages and cultural practices. Its precise grammar makes it a highly structured and computationally powerful language. Role of Sanskrit in Today’s World Useful in Yoga studies, Ayurveda, Astrology, Manuscriptology, and Indian Knowledge Systems. Helps understand Indian culture, philosophy, and traditional sciences. Essential for environmental studies rooted in ancient eco-ethics. Increasingly relevant in AI, computational linguistics, and digital humanities. As a teacher of Sanskrit, my mission is to bridge ancient wisdom with modern thinking, making students culturally rooted, academically strong, and socially conscious.
